What does GigMaven do?
GigMaven is an online platform that helps musicians and live music venues book and promote gigs online. Similar to Opentable, GigMaven aims to migrate an old school process process to a more efficient web-based platform, decreasing the average time and cost to book a gig.
How are they different?
We are different because we are focused on providing a technology solution to the old school, pen and paper industry of gig-booking. Other solutions have been focused on building tools for musicians, we are focused on building tools specifically for music venues.
Why could GigMaven be BIG?
As digital distribution and the Internet have resulted in an explosion in music creation and consumption, more and more musicians need to progress their careers by playing live to build their fanbase.
How they plan to make money:
We charge venues a fee to access our services. It’s free for artists!
Our thoughts:
No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
