Dijipop.com – Rearchitecting Digital Shelf Space

Country: United States
CEO: Ji Kim
Founders: Ji Kim
Category: Marketing/Advertising Funding: Self-Funded

What does DiJiPOP do?

DiJiPOP has created an on-demand software platform that allows products/brands to more effectively place ads on e-tailer websites. It’s a “win – win” for both the brand AND e-tailer. Why? Because e-tailers are failing at making use of the unused digital shelf space on their sites. And brands have more control where there products are featured.

How are they different?

Brand campaigns can be managed through one interface to all e-tailers. E-tailers don’t have to invest in expensive technology to make this happen.

Why could DiJiPOP be BIG?

Because brands will now have control where their products can be placed and e-tailers can immediately make more money from brands who will advertise on their site.

How they plan to make money:

Products that are featured on an e-tailer using the DiJiPOP platform and then sold to consumers is the revenue stream.

No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!

Tags: Social, Facebook, Employees: 16-30

What does AdNectar do?

We are the leader in creating and seeding social advertising on the web.

How are they different?

We create unique sharable ad products and seed them across the web. The real pay-off is the organic impressions and earned media that brands get from consumers sharing the advertising with their friends on social networks where they spend the bulk of their time. Our patent-pending technology makes us one of the few companies that traffic, track and measure social media advertising. Our proprietary “Share Banners” turn the standard IAB unit into an rich engaging social plug-in that seamlessly allows consumers to share a branded experience with friends directly into Facebook. AdNectar units are Facebook approved and currently the only rich media units you can find in the Facebook newsfeed.

Why could AdNectar be BIG?

We believe that social endorsements will always be #1 in moving the needle, and social media is only making it stronger. Advertising’s job is to rally your biggest fans and turn them into your biggest advocates. We believe in advertising that asks questions, entertains, engages and is shared among friends.

We invite brands to share. All brands should engage with consumers around common passion points, not copypoints. In the world of social media, if your ad isn’t being shared, how do you know it was truly break-through? If your ad isn’t being shared, how engaged was your core consumer? Due to our seamless share functionality, and high standard for brand engagement, AdNectar campaigns are the only ones in the current marketplace that can guarantee viral pass-a-long of your brand messaging by real, unpaid consumers.

How they plan to make money:

AdNectar designs custom social media programs using our proprietary products. We seed engaging, interactive advertising to targeted audiences and provide them with the seamless opportunity to share. Our programs are scalable, allowing any site to serve an ad unit that feeds directly into Facebook.

We currently charge based on a CPM for production and campaign seeding. With our patent-pending platform, we track results on a daily basis and can optimize on the fly. Both traditional and viral analytics are delivered to our clients.

DealsNear.me – Find And Share Local Deals

DealsNear.me - Find and share local deals Logo   Company DealsNear.me
    http://www.DealsNear.me
  Founded: March 1, 2011
  City: Chicago, Illinois
  Country: United States
  CEO: Levi Bergovoy
  Founders: Levi Bergovoy
Category: Marketing/Advertising   Funding: Seed/Friends & Family
Tags: Local deals   Employees: 2-5

What does DealsNear.me do?

DealsNear.me is a local deal discovery service. It collects and displays deals and offers from local businesses, filtered by distance and deal type.

How are they different?

We focus on the actual deals (not coupons or gift certificates) being published by local businesses on a multitude of new platforms such as Twitter, Foursquare, Gowalla etc. – We then tag those deals to the address of the business so users can find deals near them. A neat, slightly twist on the ‘local deal’ angle. Real deals, thousands of them, being published each day by local businesses. As far as I know, no one else has done this for local deals on Twitter.

Why could DealsNear.me be BIG?

Local advertising is a huge market, hundreds of billions of dollars. Advertising options for small to mid-size local businesses haven’t really changed much: newspaper, radio or TV ads. If it were a minor announcement, they would perhaps put something the window. These new platforms, such as Twitter and 4sq. are revolutionary for these businesses, provided they have an audience. Most businesses don’t, and they often abandon usage. We aim to help them and ourselves and if we can aggregate this deal info, it would put us in a very critical position in a rapidly changing and growing space.

How they plan to make money:

Premium accounts and a self service ad system to allow businesses to make sure their deals will be seen.

Our thoughts:

No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!

Interaction-Dynamics.com – Onsite Behavioral Targeting

Category: Marketing/Advertising   Funding: Bootstrapping
Tags: analytics, behavior, behavioral targeting, behavioral economics, choice architecture, decision theory, attention economics, marketing, advertising, conversion, optimization   Employees: 2-5

What does Interaction Dynamics do?

Interaction Dynamics™ helps marketers increase their online conversion rates by targeting content and offers to site visitors in real time based on declared interests in products or services.

How are they different?

Rather than using an old rules based behavioral targeting approach where a human is required to tweak and monitor each setting, Interaction Dynamics™ utilizes the power of an advanced Artificial Intelligence that constantly learns, tweaks and tests each interaction to ensure the highest conversion rate possible.

Why could Interaction Dynamics be BIG?

In the last few years, digital strategist have only focused on attraction strategies. The theory was that the more people we could throw into the funnel, the more would convert.

However this is a very wrong assumption. Now digital strategists can no longer make their attraction campaigns any more efficient, so they have to start looking at ways of converting the people already on the site. Which is exactly what we do; conversion optimization.

How they plan to make money:

We make money through a success based model, whereby if we make a sale for our client, we get paid.
