What does Dermanaut do?
This fluid interface will allow dermatologist to capture a patient encounter quickly, seamlessly integrated within their existing process while recording the necessary information for both clinical and billing purposes. Through our beta trial we have seen an increase in quality of care, record accuracy and time savings.
How are they different?
1-Click Diagnosis and Treatments: Through our user-centered design process, we have developed a workflow that accurately follows the process dermatologists use to diagnose and treat patients. Our system improves this process with standardized language and semi- automated efficiencies, the end result is significantly more accurate records in dramatically less time than the existing paper process.
Office-Specific Customizations: Dermanaut allows offices to make minor adjustments to the application to include their own common diagnosis and treatments. Additionally, offices can add their own products to the system (which many dermatologists sell in the office as supplemental income).
Why could Dermanaut be BIG?
Although this adoption rate is one of the lowest of all medicine, other medical specialties are also struggling with the lack of specialty-specific systems. After establishing itself as the premiere dermatology record system, we will expand into these underserved markets. This specialty-specific approach is the David to the medical IT Goliaths such as Cerner, Epic, and Allscripts.
