What does Chocomize do?

We are the first US based company that lets people choose the ingredients they want in their chocolate bar. We have over 100 to choose from, as well as three types of premium chocolate (milk, dark, and white) imported from Belgian. Our ingredients range from the usual like fruits and nuts, to the unusual like 23 karat gold flakes, candied rose petals, pop rocks, chocolate hearts that say ‘I Love You’ and even beef jerky! In addition, we donate a portion of the proceeds to charity, and the customer gets to pick which charity to donate to.

How are they different?

For the first time, people can choose their ingredients in their chocolate bar. Makes a great gift.

Why could Chocomize be BIG?

Chocolate is a huge market and online mass customization is a growing trend in the US. Put the two together and we think Chocomize is sure to be a hit!

How they plan to make money:

Sell high quality, delicious chocolate bars!

Our thoughts:

Normally we don’t review companies that are chiefly etail products… however the interface here is terrific and we love the smooth usability of the UI. Great product guys!

Look at http://www.createmychocolate.com for a company that’s been doing this for years – and doesn’t THEIR UI look great? You shouldn’t be featuring plain rip-offs

I ordered two bars, and had them delivered to people for gifts- shipping was very fast, and it got there whole, and not melted. Will order again!

Discovering Startups shouldn’t be featuring a company that has plainly stolen their idea from Chocri. Not only is their idea, but the website and even several blog entries are clearly just carbon copies of the original. I will be voting on pretty much anything BUT this STOLEN idea.

I don’t care who came up with the idea, but Chocomize is significantly less expensive
