What does Who The Man Media Inc. do?

WhoTheMan.com is an innovative forum for sports fans that allows users to engage on any sports topic through video.

Our users can upload videos and debate on any topic using our “battles” feature; they can be their own sportscaster using our “broadcast” feature; or they can stick with the classic and write a blog using our “blog” feature. We also provide up-to-the-minute news updates on all major sports, achievement awards and badges for their profile page, featured users and their work on our homepage, free video phone service between users, exciting contests, and much more.

How are they different?

Through our unique video technology we give a voice, and provide an audience that will listen and respond, to people who are passionate about sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and MMA. Fans no longer have to hide behind text to talk about whether that team should have made a trade, who should have won last night’s game, or what is going on in the GM’s head. Sports fans all over the world can better engage with one another using our video technology.

Why could Who The Man Media Inc. be BIG?

Our video platform takes online social engagement to a whole new level. Social media is moving away from being merely text based. First it was real-time updates, now it’s real-time video updates. Users are becoming more comfortable in an online world. They post their information on Facebook, what they’re doing on Twitter, their photos on Flikr, and their resume on LinkedIn. All of these platforms are text and photo-based, and the shift toward videos is increasing. YouTube is the perfect example of how popular a video can be. We take this to the next step by allowing people who have something to say to respond to videos directly by uploading their own video.

Recording and uploading videos is getting easier with built-in webcams on laptops, cheap and accessible webcams in store, and cameras on almost every cell phone. Recording and uploading a video on our site is quick and worth it when you can watch people respond to your work.
