What does WebinarListings do?
WebinarListings.com brings together Webinar hosts and Webinar participants, by providing a calendar of upcoming webinars in many areas of interest. We help hosts find new participants for their event by increasing visibility through social media, the website and newsletter. We help people find webinars that interest them, by going to one central website. Any type of event that is virtual and scheduled is perfect for our site, including teleseminars and even radio shows. Webinars are free to post, or can be upgraded for a fee for more visibility.
How are they different?
We are one of the only consolidators of webinars. But, in comparison to our competitors, we offer a much more personalized service, which is more social media focused in its promotion.
Why could WebinarListings be BIG?
Webinars have been growing as an online training and lead generation tool over the past few years, and companies are starting to use them as an important part of their marketing mix to educate current customers about their products, educate potential customers about their industry, and to develop a reputation as a thought leader. The webinar/webcast market is expected to increase from $83MM in 2007 to $3.4BB in 2014.
How they plan to make money:
Listing webinars on WebinarListings is free, but there is a fee to upgrade for more visibility. That will be the main source of income. Advertising on the website and newsletter is the secondary source of revenue.
Our thoughts:
No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
