What does The Rainmaker Network do?
The Rainmaker Network is an innovative startup that helps college students prepare for life after college and pursue their dream career opportunities. We do this through an integrated web portal that:
-Allows students to organize their professional identity with an ad-free and neatly packaged profile
-Helps them source top quality opportunities that directly relate to their fields of interest (no more internships that require photocopies and picking up the dry cleaning)
-Provides guidance through multiple media outlets, eBooks, blogs, and more
How are they different?
We offer career and personal development services on their terms, timeline, and budget. We are an on-demand service that is exclusive to the college market. Our social business model allows for scalable growth while providing in-kind scholarships and charitable contributions for universities and their student constituents.
Why could The Rainmaker Network be BIG?
We have turned traditional career services on its ear by providing this service at the convenience of the student. In addition, our business model does not accept placement or listing fees from companies, therefore allowing us full reign in screening quality opportunities and unique employer with no competing interests. We are in the business of helping students, not furthering corporate agendas.
How they plan to make money:
We have a number of ways that we monetize, including freemium subscriptions, media placements, and advertising.
Our thoughts:
No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
