What does TheArtGallerist.com, LLC do?

At TheArtGallerist.com, we are serious about the presentation and representation we offer our artists online. For the limited number of artists that we represent, we take a more active role in their online management and promotion.

For our Customers, our commitment is to present only great original art at affordable prices from today’s best contemporary artists. We have designed the website to provide visitors with a fine art gallery experience, allowing them to shop for and buy fine art in the comfort of their own home or office.

How are they different?

1. We work hard at TheArtGallerist.com to provide our artists and customers with a fine art gallery experience online. Unlike other “art” websites, we do not treat the sale of fine art as if it were a commodity.
2. We are a juried website and do not accept every artist that would like to exhibit their work. All artists must first submit samples of their work for consideration to a jury of art professionals who are commonly interested in maintaining the quality of the fine art work being presented.
3. TheArtGallerist.com is composed of three separate “exhibits” – With an exhibit for student artists, a second for emerging artists, and a third for professionals, TheArtGallerist.com separates artists and their work by experience and skill level. This ensures that an artist and their work are only exhibited with that of their peers.
4. Our Artist Guestbook helps buyers and art collectors to get to know the artist before they buy. The Guestbook not only allows visitors to post comments for an artist, but to ask them questions about their art, their art training, inspiration, painting techniques, new series releases, etc.

Why could TheArtGallerist.com, LLC be BIG?

We are confident that because of our unique approach to the business and the reputation we are quickly gaining, that we will be able to secure our share of what Geoffroy Martin, CEO of Art.com estimates to be a $20 billion dollar market annually in the U.S. alone.

How they plan to make money:

Currently we do not charge artists to participate in our program. Our primary source of revenue is strictly from the commissions we charge artists upon the sale of their artwork. Additional revenue opportunities are planned as we roll-out new and efficient artist marketing opportunities.

Our thoughts:

No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
