What does Start Charlotte do?
It is a co-working, and startup development company. Start Charlotte’s goal is to breed startups and create a startup culture in Charlotte, North Carolina.
How are they different?
Unlike most co-working and freelance spaces, Start Charlotte provides the services startups and freelancers need for them to continue concentrating on their efforts. Start Charlotte provides health care plans, accounting, payroll, marketing and other services that startup and freelancing professionals don’t need to focus on. Start Charlotte provides the infrastructure while the startups begin the build.
Why could Start Charlotte be BIG?
Because the East Coast has yet to catch on that startups and freelancers, put together in a single space, can make pretty big ideas happen. Start Charlotte plans to pursue, and help others pursue big and exciting ideas.
How they plan to make money:
Start Charlotte plans to invest in the businesses and startups formed. Then, as a revolving door is created, Start Charlotte can invest more in itself and provide an even better haven for startups and big-idea chasers.
