What does Rock and Roll Tribe do?
Our social network will connect “veteran rockers” with one another. These are folks who haven’t let a gray hair or two stop them from leading a rock & roll lifestyle. There are millions of people like this out there but, until now, there’s been no way for them to connect.
Our motto: “Don’t Get Old, Get Rock!” Or to put it another way — It’s not about denying getting older, it’s about denying the expectations of getting older.
Our members are currently organizing local chapters, so they can get together for pre-concert tailgating, record store expeditions, happy hour fun and more.
The site itself offers full social networking capabilities, including instant messaging, profile pages, user created groups, blogs, video chat and much more.
How are they different?
There are millions of passionate veteran rock fans out there, but almost no media (particularly in the U.S.) geared toward them — and no social networks that provide them ways to meet one another.
Why could Rock and Roll Tribe be BIG?
Because we’re filling a true need for millions of people — to assure that the second half of their lives are every bit as fun as the first half.
