What does OlderSibling do?
How are they different?
Why could OlderSibling be BIG?
We use proximity tracking to see when these chips are in range of computers with OlderSibling software (also free). This means that an employer could monitor when his or her employees are at work, without seeing anything else. Or a parent could see when their child was home, without seeing where they’ve been.
At OlderSibling, the software is free to use. Right now it works with any cell phone with Bluetooth – no smartphone or apps needed. And, when they become available, we will sell Bluetooth enabled bracelets and ID cards with Bluetooth Low Energy microchips in them for use with the OlderSibling website and software.
How they plan to make money:
First – Selling Bluetooth Low Energy enabled items
Second – web advertising
Third – through data collection
