What does FlashInsight, Inc. do?
MobiStox is a mobile web application that allows individuals and professionals to track U.S. stocks and ETFs (AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ) from their smart phone device. MobiStox is optimized for smart phone web browsers and is also compatible with desktop browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.
How are they different?
Aside from features, most mobile applications are platform specific (ie. iPhone, Blackberry). MobiStox is a web appilcation, meaning it can work on all major smart phone browsers (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Opera). If you become familiar with an iPhone stock tracking app and switch to an Android/Google phone, you will need to find a new application to suit your needs. With MobiStox, nothing would change.
Many people do provide a native phone application to a web-based application, but we believe that as the mobile web browser continues to advance, this will change. A native smart phone app only works on your phone. Since MobiStox is a web application, it is also compatible with desktop browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox. It can be accessed from virtually any device that has an internet connection.
