What does GiveForward do?
How it Works: (1) A user creates a customized fundraising page with her story, photos, etc; (2) she then sends her customized URL to friends and family via email or Facebook; (3) friends and family from around the world can quickly and securely donate online using a credit card and leave words of encouragement for the beneficiary.
How are they different?
Why could GiveForward be BIG?
The Chicago Tribune has called GiveForward “The future of medical fundraising in the Internet Age.”
Mashable has called us a “Gen-Y startup using social media to shatter the status quo.”
We have been featured by: ABC News; AOL News; Chicago Tribune; Chicago Sun Times; Mashable; NBC Chicago; PBS; USA Today, and many more. We have been nominated for the 2010 World Technology Network Award in association with TIME, CNN and FORBES (past winners include Sergei Brin, Mark Zuckerberg, Jacqueline Novogratz). We are going to be featured in the Seth Godin’s new video book, Linchpin.
