What does Expensify do?
Expense reports that don’t suck! We import expenses *and receipts* right from your credit cards and mobile phones, submit expense reports through email, and reimburse entirely online with QuickBooks and Direct Deposit.
How are they different?
Unlike most enterprise apps, we focus on the end user: don’t ask your boss for permission, don’t wait to be asked. Just sign up and submit a report and see what they say. I think you’ll find you love it, they love it, and before you know it — your company will be using Expensify without ever realizing how it happened.
Why could Expensify be BIG?
Our bottom-up adoption curve leverages the natural virulence of expense reporting (yes, I just said that) to achieve hypergrowth in a purely organic (eg, free) manner. In English: our users are our salespeople — the more we have, the faster we grow. And we’ve got a lot of users, so we’re growing fast!
How they plan to make money:
We’re free for individuals and small businesses, and charge $5/submitter/mo with the first two free.
Our thoughts:
No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
