What does DealGooder do?

DealGooder is a daily deal website (like Groupon) based out of Orange County, CA.

How are they different?

Although there are now hundreds of Groupon-type deal sites and more popping up everyday, DealGooder is the ONLY site that focuses on socially conscious shoppers. Think Groupon for Do-gooders.

On each deal sold, DealGooder gives 50% of profits back to local charities. (Yep, we said 50%)

Why could DealGooder be BIG?

Rapidly Expanding Industry:

The daily deal industry is one of the hottest industries in the US right now. Almost everyone in this industry is making money despite the fact that most of the sites are merely cheaply made clones of Groupon.

Unique Business Concept:

DealGooder is different from other daily deal websites in nearly every aspect. We are not just a deal site. We are a company that focuses on good deeds, good fun, good people and bringing the community together. This core philosophy of doing good resonates with people and makes our business concept inherently spreadable through word of mouth. (Think Groupon meets TOMS Shoes).

DealGooder is the only site that creates a triple win for consumers, businesses and non-profit organizations. So far, we have had incredibly positive response from people who LOVE the concept of being able to give back to good causes simply by doing something they were going to do anyway – shop.

How they plan to make money:

We keep a percentage on each deal sold.

Our thoughts:

No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
