What does Chictiq do?
ChicTiq is a listing of every local boutique found in the various neighborhoods of New York City. With Chictiq you can search for all clothing stores within a few miles of your apartment. Or if you live on the Upper East Side for instance, you can plan a day around shopping for shoes on sale at boutiques in Soho. ChicTiq is available to make it easier to find sales at nearby boutiques.
How are they different?
The development of an iPhone application which tracks stores in your current area and allows you to also track sales, events and creates a one stop shop for retailers and consumers alike!
Why could Chictiq be BIG?
It is a new technologically savvy way to shop. We are also coming up with a blog that allows behind the scenes look at the latest store news and events such as trunk shows, sample sales and cocktail parties for example!
How they plan to make money:
We plan to increase user hits and make it one of the most followed, most popular shopping directories that exist today. We plan to sell ad space and also sell blog posts and sponsored video etc.
