What does CafeYak.com do?

CafeYak.com is a naptime break for Moms, women who are hungry for information especially when it comes to their kids and their own well-being. The site offers practical advice in eight sections relevant to Moms of babies and toddlers. Baby section provides guidance on a variety of parenting issues. Food section offers dozens of delicious recipes. Stylish Mama section offers the latest style trends as relevant to Mom and kids. Vacation section is full of ideas for a perfect vacation, including maps and kid-friendly restaurants. Working Mom section provides advice on finances, starting a business & mom entrepreneur interviews. Finally, the Shopping section offers the best weekly deals and comparison shopping from over 20 storefronts and 200 retailers; with 50% of our proceeds going to charity. Another special feature on CafeYak.com is “Mommy Mail”. As Moms are looking for answers to questions about their child, they may not always have the time to do the research. We offer Moms to submit their question and we do the legwork for them, answering the questions in our weekly “Mommy Mail” newsletter. CafeYak monthly Podcast features all the recent answers, new articles and shopping deals.

How are they different?

Content that is relevant to moms, personalized to their answers and concerns. Plus, the shopping section that is 90% affiliate based and keeping the site profitable.

Why could CafeYak.com be BIG?

CafeYak.com is quirky.
There are many sites that offer parenting advice, but few of them are personal, it’s more of a mass appeal. CafeYak.com is written from a personal perspective.
There are many blogs written by moms, yet few of them are profitable. So running a content-based site along with the large shopping section is what is separating CafeYak.com from the rest.

How they plan to make money:

I plan on continuing to keep the site profitable by bringing the best content to keep growing the user base and loyalty, expanding on the affiliate relationships and improving on the SEO and social media.

Our thoughts:

No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
