What does Bidabooking.com Ltd do?

Bidabooking.com offers offers a solution to private rental owners and property management companies in which to generate revenues for otherwise unsold availability. By utilising a ‘no-sales, no-fee’ approach it allows users the opportunity without the ‘risk’ factor. Bidabooking.com is looking to position itself as a market leader in offering an on-line auction for holiday rental accommodation.

How are they different?

The principal services offered are live on-line auctions of holiday rental availability. This includes features such as reserve pricing and start bid pricing and allows owners to secure bookings for unsold availability with the security of a minimum amount they are prepared to accept. Currently no other on-line holiday rental site uses this module to assist its owners is selling previously unsold availability.

Why could Bidabooking.com Ltd be BIG?

E-commerce continues to be a growth area for consumers, with 55% of all UK citizens already booking their holidays on-line. Private rental accommodation is estimated to double in size by 2012 with 58% of all Europeans booking private accommodation over the traditional methods. A study concluded on behalf of Bidabooking.com found that 90% of property owners were keen to seek new and alternative methods in today’s climate to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised. Initial services focus on Spain and Portugal however Bidabooking.com is planning to expand into the USA and other European markets within the year. The company also seeks to expand by adding to its destination list every time a new rental auction requires it with the long term objective of becoming global. Additional to these market areas, the company has future plans to expand its service range into areas such as car hire and flights. It offers a high potential for rapid growth and is already showing global appeal.

How they plan to make money:

Bidabooking.com has several revenue streams. For independent users final sales fees of 8% will be charge on all successful auction sales. For business users two annual subscription packages have been developed at a cost of £100 or £250 respectively coupled with reduced rate final sale fees of 5 or 3%. In addition to these main revenue streams a third stream has been identified in the sale of advertising and banner space on the website and in the newsletter to third party advertisers.
