August Best-Of Winner: TerranExchange!

Posted by admin On September - 3 - 2010

Discovering Startups would like to congratulate TerranExchange on winning the Best-Of Discovering Startups August Contest!

TerranExchange beat all of our previous record holders in total number of votes – garnering a shocking 1,729 for the month. TerranExchange currently towers above the competition as our most popular startup of all time, with more than 400 above the number two spot holder, iGrad (which was last month’s winner). Congratulations to Terran Exchange!

For those who didn’t get a chance to read this blog post, TerranExchange provides a marketplace for developers to sell their software, licenses and IP to consumers. Consumers, small businesses, and other startups will be able to rate and review software and eventually purchase commercial licenses that are most suited for their needs. The convoluted and often illiquid market of software IP is a tough one to manage, and could greatly benefit from a service like Terran Exchange. The concept sounds very interesting, and we hope they launch their website soon.

It’s a great idea and we are happy to showcase them as a Discovering Startups Best-Of Monthly Winner. Congratulations TerranExchange and good luck!
